Why do I need Equali if I already have spreadsheets or an accountant?

There's no "standard" format for reconciling payments and orders, which means you're likely working with lots of spreadsheets. Spreadsheets only cover one specific period too, whereas we we can track a transaction over its entire history for any late arriving refunds, fees and chargebacks.

Ultimately, spreadsheets are prone to errors, as well as being a time sink for your business. Equali standardises and enriches your data before automating reconciliation across payment providers, improving accuracy, saving days at month end and giving you insights into your payments.

How is Equali different from Shopify’s built-in reports or other apps?

Shopify only offers a fixed set of reports to non-Shopify Plus merchants. Even if you're on Shopify Plus, you still can't reconcile across multiple payment providers.

Does this work with my payment providers and e-Commerce platforms?

We have direct API integrations to e-Commerce platforms like Shopify, as well as payment providers like Stripe and PayPal. We also support file upload for other payment providers or if you'd like to upload any bespoke reports (e.g. internal BI reports, ledger reports or ERP extracts).
